Design Communication
The programme introduces the necessary foundational abilities for effective architectural design communication. It employs several techniques for visualising and expressing spatial concepts through architectural drawings in order to equip students with the abilities needed for design assignments. A sequence of structured and freehand drawings done both outside and in the studio are used to teach these skills. Students will participate in a blended learning experience during the lecture and tutorial sessions as part of the module's teaching and learning strategy, which will be lecture and tutorial focused. The main delivery methods are an online learning component, a portion of face-to-face instruction, and MyTIMES. The module assessment will be a standalone task with a number of summative tests.
