Overall Reflection

Throughout these 14 weeks, I've learned a lot in this module such as features and unique of historical architecture, types of design throughout different eras, different design styles of architects and many more. Throughout this module, I've struggle a lot as I am not a fan of history. In each project and exam, I try my best and put in all effort to complete them as perfect as possible. Although it is very tiring and headache throughout this module but looking at me learning thi smuch of knowledge after the whole semester, it all paid off.

In the first assignment, it is a group project consisting of 8 members in total, hence teamwork is important. Joey as our group leader lead us well, she took up the responsibility of it and split work evenly among us. It is grateful having her as our leader. I was assigned mainly in the drawing team. I met some difficulties while drawing especially those plan views as it consist of many details but the picture is not clear enough, hence I have do some more research to find a another clearer picture. 

  

In the 2nd assignment, I am required to choose 5 buildings from the list of architecture provided. I struggle at choosing because some building that I wanted to choose initially was lack of information online. After filtering, I end up choosing Chin Woo Stadium, Stadium Negara, National Mosque, Bank Negara and Dewan Tunku Canselor these 3 buildings. As there is much information online for these 5 buildings, I struggle to fit them in one page. Hence, I only pick what I think is important for that building to be written inside.

TGC 1.0: Discipline Specific Knowledge

In this module, I've learned to apply theories teach in lecture classes in my assignments. As an example, the unique feature of an architecture in the Roman era, importance of architectural layout of a building and many more. Grateful to learn these knowledge ahead so that I am able to apply them in my assignments.

TGC 5.0: Interpersonal Skills

Teamwork is important especially in the first assignment as it is a group assignment. We split our task by dividing it through our strengths. This way, we could finish things faster and even efficient. Joey as a team leader led us well, she helps to solve problems smoothly faced by us.

TGC 6.0: Digital Literacy

In the 1st assignment, Blippar app is used. We used it to insert details and it is presented in a 3D mode which is more interesting for users and audience to experience. In the 2nd assignment, Internet became a huge source for me to have all my research. It enables me to get the information that I needed at home instead of visiting the site physically.
